Mild nights & hot days ahead

TONIGHT: The full moon rises at 8:38 and we’ll have clear skies to view it with the planet Saturn to it’s lower right this evening. Temperatures will only drop to the low 60s by morning with a southerly breeze at 3-7 mph.

SATURDAY: Abundant sunshine and southerly winds will boost temperatures to near 90 in the afternoon with winds at 10-18 mph, gusting to 25 mph at times.

EXTENDED: It will start to feel more humid as we head into Sunday. High temperatures will reach the low 90s and the h umidity will produce heat indices in the mid 90s. Southerly winds of 8-15 mph will gust up to 25 mph mainly west of HWY 63 Sunday afternoon. The 90 degree days will continue through Tuesday with muggy nights in the 70s. Our next chance of storms comes next Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front drops into Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will drop into the upper 80s for the second half of next week due to more clouds and rain chances.
