Moberly man dies after falling from roof of moving vehicle

A man has died after falling from the roof of a moving vehicle on Monday evening in Randolph County.

Asher Kimbrough, 25, of Moberly, was riding on the roof of a 2008 GMC Acadia that was headed westbound on County Road 1235, when he fell off and landed in the road. He was taken to the Moberly Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Acadia, Jacob Gerhard, 26, of Moberly, was arrested for felony DWI – death of another person, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash and possession of less than ten grams of marijuana.
