A Fulton man was charge don Sunday with felony possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of fourth degree assault.
On Saturday evening, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a disturbance involving a reported firearm in the 5000 block of County Road 123 northeast of Fulton.
Eight victims reported that Timothy Stewart, 41, of Fulton, drove by their home with what looked like a pistol, in a threatening manner, at them.
There was an active disturbance at the home where the home owner was holding Stewart, who had returned, at gun point.
During the investigation, it was determined that the pistol was actually a BB gun. Deputies recovered two BB pistols and methamphetamine.
