Sunday evening promises drying conditions
TODAY: Scattered thunderstorms are possible in Mid-Missouri again for Sunday. There is no severe threat with these storms as they are expected to continue into the evening hours. Areas south of I-70 have the best chance to see these thunderstorms. By the afternoon, temperatures will reach into the upper 80s with southwest winds under 5 mph. Tonight will bring drying weather and temperatures remaining warm in the lower 70s.
MONDAY: The beginning of our work week will be the kick start to a few days of gorgeous weather. For Monday, temperatures will reach into the mid 80s with humidity remaining on the lower side. Expect mostly sunny skies and completely dry weather.
EXTENDED: Tuesday through Thursday will bring similar weather to Monday. Sunshine and warm temperatures in the 80s will be the trend for the week as high pressure and drier upper level air settles over the Midwest. The next chance for rain doesn’t move in until Friday into Saturday. For additional weather updates follow us @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
