Moberly courthouse closes its doors

The Circuit Judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Missouri sent out a press release about the closing of the Moberly Courthouse.

“It’s a bittersweet day for me. I handled many cases in the Moberly Courthouse – as an Assistant Prosecutor, Public Defender, as an Associate Judge. I have many fond memories from my legal career coming from my years in the Moberly Courthouse. However, as anybody could see that was there recently, the building was just in too bad of shape for the county to keep up,” said Judge Scott Hayes.

All of the court dockets, cases and trials will be at the Randolph County Courthouse on Highway JJ in Hunsville.
