Storm chance through Tuesday evening
TODAY: As we reach the mid-afternoon hours, storms will be possible again today; mainly after 2 PM. There is a Marginal Risk for damaging wind and large hail through 9PM. Areas west of US 63 have the better chance for evening storms where 0.01″ to 0.30″ is possible. S torms will taper off through 9PM leaving us dry overnight.
WEDNESDAY: By the morning hours, we may see some patchy fog thanks in part to light winds under 5 mph. Some sunshine is expected for the beginning of Wednesday, but a chance for storms develops after 12PM south of I-70 and west of US 63. A Marginal Risk for damaging winds and large hail exists for only Pettis and Benton counties.
EXTENDED: There is a storm chance each day through the weekend. As Thursday approaches, a warm front will lift into the area giving us a chance for showers and thunderstorms. This will also bring the highs into the 80s by the later part of the week. More upper level disturbances are expected to move into the area giving Mid-Missouri the chance for rain and storms into the weekend.
