Memorial day will be perfect for outdoor plans

TONIGHT: Conditions will be comfortable with temperatures slipping into the lower 60s and westerly winds near 5 mph. Skies will clear as temperatures bottom out in the upper 50s by the morning time.

MEMORIAL DAY: Monday is going to be a perfect day to enjoy outside. Weather will be less humid, skies will be clear, and temperatures will be warm near 80 degrees. By the afternoon into the evening hours, skies will start filling with clouds with conditions remaining rain free.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will also bring favorable weather for the start of the day with sunny and dry conditions and temperatures in the upper 70s. A chance for storms moves in by Tuesday afternoon, isolated along and south of I-70. These showers will be light to moderate rainfall producers, but will not be severe. By Wednesday, drier and sunny weather will move back in for a brief amount of time. As Thursday approaches, more upper level disturbances move into the area giving Mid-Missouri the chance for rain and storms through the rest of the week.
