Juvenile arrested in East Miller Street homicide investigation
JCPD began investigating a suspicious death on the 1400 block of East Miller Street on April 21.
The victim was 63-year-old Jerry Robertson.
Robertson suffered from wounds consistent with blunt force trauma. EMS arrived on scene and tried to revive him, but weren’t able to.
JCPD Detectives have been following a number of leads and interviewing persons of interest.
A 16-year-old Jefferson City man was detained on Thursday and taken to the Prenger Family Center on charges of second degree murder and Armed Criminal Action.
