Isolated T-Storms Friday Evening
TODAY: It will be a warmer afternoon with temperatures reaching 80-81 and with humidity rising by evening. Additional storms may develop this afternoon into early evening. If these develop, they will be short-lived. Storms will begin clearing out around 8PM-9PM with evenings temperatures warm in the upper 60s and calm winds under 5 mph.
SATURDAY: The morning will start off a little sticky in the mid 60s and patchy fog across the area. It will be mostly dry in the AM with storms not moving in until the afternoon with the high reaching the lower 80s. Our best chance of rain moves in Saturday and Saturday night as a cold front slowly drifts through. It will feel humid on Saturday. Strong to severe storms are likely for Saturday afternoon and those with outdoor plans should check the latest forecasts before heading out for the weekend. All modes of severe weather are possible, especially for those south of I-70. Very large hail, strong, damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes are possible. Strongest storms will also produce heavy rain. Newest timing is indicating 4PM-11PM on Saturday.
EXTENDED: Sunday will be drier with only a slight chance of isolated storms closer to I-44 in the morning. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s Sunday and Memorial Day. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring favorable weather with sunny and dry conditions and temperatures in the upper 70s. A chance for rain moves in by Wednesday night into Thursday.
