Isolated storms Friday night, with severe storms Saturday
TONIGHT: A warm night is expected for Mid-Missouri as increasing clouds keep temperatures in the mid 60s. Isolated storms are possible overnight mainly north of Interstate 70. Winds through the night will shift out of the north and northeast under 7 mph.
SATURDAY: The morning will start off a little sticky in the mid 60s and patchy fog across the area. It will be mostly dry in the AM with storms not moving in until the afternoon with the high reaching the lower 80s. Our best chance of rain moves in Saturday and Saturday night as a cold front slowly drifts through. It will feel humid on Saturday. Strong to severe storms are likely for Saturday afternoon and those with outdoor plans should check the latest forecasts before heading out for the weekend. All modes of severe weather are possible, especially for those south of I-70. Very large hail, strong, damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes are possible. Strongest storms will also produce heavy rain. Newest timing is indicating 4PM-12AM on Saturday.
EXTENDED: Sunday will be drier with only a slight chance of isolated storms closer to I-44 in the morning. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s Sunday and Memorial Day. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring favorable weather with sunny and dry conditions and temperatures in the upper 70s. A chance for storms moves in by Tuesday and through the rest of the week.
