Convicted felon arrested after JCPD found 4 guns, 555 rounds of ammo in home

A Cole County man has been arrested after Jefferson City Police found four unsecured guns and 555 rounds of ammunition when executing a search warrant at his home.

Jefferson City Police went to the home of Robert Thrasher on April 21st on the 1400 block of East Miller Street to execute a search warrant. Officers found the guns and ammunition in the master bedroom. The witness to the search warrant said that she knew that he was a convicted felon and that they had shot all of the guns at a local shooting range.

The guns weren’t in a safe or a gun cabinet when officers found them.

Thrasher has felony convictions in Louisiana for assault and in Texas for evading arrest.
