Flooding Possible Friday Night-Saturday
Two rounds of organized storms will move in over the next 48 hours. This first round will increase from midnight tonight through 6AM Friday morning. Storms will initially move into HWY 65 and track NE to Columbia and Jefferson City between 1AM and 3AM eventually weakening in time moving to Vandalia by 3AM-5AM. By daybreak Friday some locations will have picked up 1″ to 1.5″ already.
On Friday night a second round moves in from 10PM through 6AM Saturday morning. An additional 2″ is possible in Columbia, and 3″ in Marshall.
