Periods of storms Thu night through Saturday

TONIGHT: It will be dry overnight with winds becoming lighter under 15 mph by midnight. It will be mild in the mid to upper 60s under a partly cloudy sky.

THURSDAY: Thursday looks mainly dry and very warm with highs in the upper 80s and increasing storm chances in the evening. Southwest winds winds will shif to the east in the evening under 12 mph. There is a Marginal Risk for severe storms Thursday from 5PM-10PM as isolated thunderstorms could develop near I-70.

EXTENDED: Periods of storms are expected Thursday night through Saturday. We’ll have to watch for the potential of a few strong or severe storms along with heavy rain. A preliminary look at rain through the end of the week indicates 1″ to 4″ possible by Saturday evening, with the highest rain totals near HWY 65. Showers could linger into Sunday morning east of HWY 63 before we dry out. Highs will be more seasonal this weekend, reaching the low 70s. Please check for updates here and on ABC17 News.
