Mild Saturday Evening and Warm Mother’s Day
TONIGHT: It will be a mild evening with temperatures in the 70s through 9PM tonight, slowly cooling to the mid 50s overnight. Winds will remain light from the south under 5 mph.
SUNDAY: Gorgeous weather continues for Mother’s Day. It will be sunny and warm with highs in the upper 80s. There will be a slight breeze during the day with winds up to 12 mph.
EXTENDED: The warming trend will continue through Thursday with highs in the 80s each day with storm chances increasing by the latter half of the next work week. The humidity will start to creep up by Monday evening and Tuesday with some locations hitting 90. The next opportunity for rain looks to move in late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning from 12AM-6AM where under 0.10″ is looking good. Medium and long range forecast models indicate a possible active pattern for the end of next week and into the following weekend where a preliminary look shows 1″ to 4″ of rain possible with highest amounts in southwest Mid-Missouri near Camden, Morgan, and Pulaksi counties.
