UPDATE: Man arrested after robbery at Camden County home
UPDATE 5/11: Joshua N. Seevers, 24, of Camdenton, is being held on a $50,000 bond after being charged with first degree robbery, armed criminal action, first degree burglary and unlawful use of a weapon.
ORIGINAL STORY: A Camden County suspect is still at large after a robbery on Claremont Ridge Road in Camden County on Tuesday.
The male suspect, driving a four-door dark grey sedan, possibly a model from the early 2000’s, drove into the driveway of the home and approached a woman in the yard.
Reports say that the suspect had a knife and demanded money from the woman, who had none. The suspect took a cell phone from the woman and took her into the home where another woman and children were staying. The suspect asked the second woman for money, and she tried to grab the knife from him. The suspect tried to grab the second woman’s cell phone and fled the scene. and left the residence in the aforementioned vehicle. The first woman’s cell phone was found in a neighbor’s yard.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly 18 to 20 years of age, between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 160 to 170 pounds, blue eyes, freckles and possibly sandy brown hair.
The suspect was wearing a purple and tan shirt, a blue zip-up hoodie and baggy tan pants.
