One child was taken to University Hospital after a structure fire on Clearview Drive.
ABC 17 News reached out to the Boone County Fire Department, who confirmed that a 12 year old child was being evaluated for burns to the arms and face. A resident of the home said that the child suffered from third degree burns.
The fire started at the deck and was extinguished before it reached the house.
