Rain and flooding threat continue, drier by the weekend

TONIGHT : Rain will be ongoing tonight with pockets of moderate rain at times moving through. Highest rainfall amounts through tonight will be east of HWY 63 where 1-3″ additional rainfall is possible. Areas west will pick up an additional trace to half inch. Northerly winds will be gusty overnight with low temperatures falling into the lower 40s.

THURSDAY: It looks dry Thursday morning for those west of HWY 63 while showers will continue through the early afternoon east of HWY 63. Thursday will stay cool with high temperatures near 60 and a cool northerly wind at 15 mph gusting to 35 mph at times.

EXTENDED: Friday is looking dry and sunny with no rain at this time for the upcoming weekend. High temperatures will climb into the mid 60s Friday and lower 70s this weekend. There is only a slight shower chance Monday, otherwise it will stay dry and warm through Wednesday of next week before the next storm system moves in by next Thursday.
