Deputies respond to man’s house multiple times for illegal activity
Newly filed court documents show deputies are cracking down on a man accused of running a household they say is a public nuisance.
ABC17 picked up a probable cause statement for William Stockwell. It details authorities frequent stops to his house.
According to the probable cause, deputies say they had gone to the house over 20 times.
Those calls to the 500 block of Waldo Place have apparently ranged from alleged drug deals, stealing of electricity, and investigating a robbery with a gun.
According to the documents, a witness reports regular activity consistent with drug activity coming from the house.
Back in November, deputies were called to the house in reference to a robbery with a gun. Deputies say it turned out to be a drug deal gone bad that ended with a gun going off.
Back in December, Stockwell had three warrants for his arrest. When deputies tried to arrest him, he allegedly led them on a chase.
He was later arrested and was caught with marijuana on him.
Deputies say they believe Stockwell poses a danger to the community or any other person.
ABC17 checked and as of Tuesday morning, Stockwell is not listed as an inmate in the Boone County Jail.
