Windy, drizzly, and cool Monday afternoon

TODAY: It’s a raw and cold afternoon across Mid-Missouri for May standards. Light rain/drizzle continues as the large upper level low responsible for the flooding this past weekend, slowly slides across the Midwest. Besides the rain, we’ll have a steady southwest breeze day. Wind gusts up to 30 mph will be possible through 2PM-3PM. It looks to be a cloudy and cool afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

TONIGHT: Clouds break this evening from west to east, with skies clearing overnight. It looks chilly tonight with lows possibly dropping to the low 40s. Winds through the evening should remain out of the southwest under 15 mph, prohibiting fog from developing.

EXTENDED: Sunshine returns Tuesday with temperatures warming to the mid to upper 60s. Rain returns on Wednesday morning by 6AM. It looks heavy at times during the day Wednesday where 1″ to 3″ of rain is possible by Wednesday night from HWY 50 to I-70. Light rain isn’t ruled out on Thursday morning through 12PM east of US 63. Friday is looking dry and sunny with no rain at this time for the upcoming weekend. Please check back for updates and follow ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter and ABC17News on Facebook for updates as well.
