Rollover crash in Fulton kills driver

A man is dead after a single car, rollover crash in Fulton, police said.

At about 12:10 Saturday morning, Fulton Police responded to the area of State Route O, near Route UU for a single car crash.

On scene, officers found an unresponsive 37-year-old white male lying in a field. Officers also saw a 2003 black GMC Yukon with extensive damage.

First responders tried to revive the man but police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the man was the driver of the car and was traveling west on Rt. O, approaching UU. Police said the car crossed over the center line and overcorrected before going off the right side of the roadway. Police said the car hit several trees before flipping.

Police said the driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected.

It’s not clear if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.

Police are waiting to identify the victim until family can be notified.
