One person shot in north Columbia, house hit
UPDATE: Columbia Police confirm officers responded to the 1400 block of Greensboro Drive Wednesday to a 17 year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the hand.
Police said the preliminary investigation revealed the victim and another teenager were outside a home in the area when a dark colored SUV pulled up. According to officers, people inside of the vehicle fired shots at the two men, striking the victim in the hand. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said officers found several shell casings in the area from two different firearms. A home in the 5300 block of Currituck Lane was struck by a single round of gunfire.

Officers responded to the area of Greensboro Drive around 9:30 p.m. for a possible gunshot wound victim.
When they arrived, they found a teen with non life-threatening injuries and multiple shell casings.
A house was also hit.
Greensboro Drive was temporarily closed while police searched the area.

There is also an ambulance on scene.
