Three arrested after DWI checkpoint in Moniteau County

A DWI checkpoint in Moniteau County on Friday stopped 105 vehicles, resulting in three DWI arrests.

The checkpoint took place at the intersection of Missouri Highway 87 and Missouri Route C. According to the press release, “The enforcement location was selected based on the high number of drinking- and impairment-related crashes, in addition to other traffic violations that contribute to unsafe driving behavior.”
