Rounding out Easter weekend with another chance of showers

TONIGHT: The marginal severe risk has been pushed further south with no mid-Missouri counties in effect. There is still a chance of showers into the late evening with the majority of the activity remaining south of I-70 and after midnight. Temperatures will be dropping slightly cooler thanks to the passing cold front. Overnight lows are sitting in the lower 50s.

MONDAY: Another round of rain and thunderstorms will continue to move into Mid-Missouri early Monday morning with the bulk of these storms staying south of I-70 as these storms originate from the southwest. By the afternoon, we will see drier conditions with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will reach into the lower 70s.

EXTENDED: The chance for rain continues again on Tuesday afternoon through next weekend. Tuesday night into Wednesday a cold front will stall in northern portions of Missouri creating for a chance of showers mainly isolated to the north. Another wave will impact mid-Mo by Wednesday allowing for active weather until calmer conditions are expected Thursday afternoon. All of the rain chances combined each day next week could lead to rain amounts up to a total accumulation of 1″ to 4″. We will be tracking this in case of potential flooding and strong storms.
