Dry evening weather for Easter Sunday

TODAY: Expect dry conditions from the mid afternoon into Sunday evening after the chance for spotty showers pulls out of southern Mid-Missouri. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather for counties south of I-70 for our Easter Sunday. Threats include the chance for damaging winds and medium sized hail. Temperatures will reach into the lower 70s today and will dip to the upper 60s by tonight.

MONDAY: Another round of rain and thunderstorms will move into Mid-Missouri early Monday morning with the bulk of these storms staying south of I-70 as these storms originate from the southwest. By the afternoon, we will see drier conditions with temperatures reaching the lower 70s.

EXTENDED: The chance for rain continues again on Tuesday afternoon through next weekend. All of the rain chances combined each day next week could lead to rain amounts up to a total accumulation of 1″ to 4″. We will be tracking this in case of potential flooding and strong storms.
