Mid-Missourian from Middle East says she supports United States air strikes in Syria
Sameerah Hasan is an American citizen born in Iraq and she spoke with ABC17 News in Columbia tonight about the air strikes in Syria. She speaks English but wanted her husband, Wasim Alagha, to translate for her because she felt she could articulate her thoughts better in Arabic.
As you’ll see in the interview, she says she agrees with President Donald Trump’s decision to attack the air base in Syria because people experiencing violence in countries like Syria and Iraq need U.S. intervention to help save the lives of millions of innocent civilians and end dictatorship and terrorism all over the world.
