Suspect in deadly chase has criminal history
Jeremiah Lynne is behind bars tonight charged with two counts of second degree murder, felony resisting arrest, and leaving the scene of a crash after Saturday’s chase on Garth avenue in Columbia.
Lynne fled from officers and crashed into a light pole and car, injuring another driver and passenger before running away and later being arrested.
Court documents say Lynne’s passenger, Skyler Littleton was 4 months pregnant. Both she and her unborn child were killed.
The documents also say, after searching the car Lynne was driving, officers found a gun. Right now, Lynne is not allowed to have a firearm.
Lynne is no stranger to crime. In addition to the new charges, in just about the last 3 months Lynne has been charged with resisting or interfering with arrest and 3 counts of driving with a revoked or suspended license.
He’s also been in trouble for possession of marijuana, stealing and even spent a few days in jail for speeding.
