Crews repair telephone pole after overnight crash near Burr Oak Tree
UPDATE: Columbia Water and Light have completed the repairs to the damaged telephone poll lines on Burr Oak Road.
One person is in the hospital this morning and another is recovering after an early-morning crash in Boone County.
Crews were called to the 7700 block of Burr Oak Road around 12:20 a.m. for the single-car crash Saturday.
Our ABC 17 News crews on scene say the car hit a telephone pole. They say crews are currently on scene repairing the damage.
ABC 17 News also spoke to a sergeant with Boone County Sheriff’s Department who tells us speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
