Woman arrested and charged for October homicide in Moberly

A woman was arrested and charged for the October shooting death of Kevin McCuiston in Moberly this week.

Brittney Bowen was charged on Tuesday with second degree murder, robbery and armed criminal action. She was taken into custody Wednesday and is being held in the Chariton County Jail on $500,000 bond.

Bowen is the third person charged in the October 6 death.

In October, Joseph Kertz was charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action, among other charges.

Ethan Longbine was charged with second degree murder, first degree robbery and armed criminal action.

According to a probable cause statement from last fall, Kertz and Bowen were planning to rob McCuiston.

Bowen allegedly lured McCuiston to a home on Calhoun Street by offering sex in exchange for money. At the time, Bowen claimed she was locked in a bathroom and at some point McCuiston was killed.
