Showers and t-storm chance Thursday, dry end to the week
TONIGHT: Showers and t-storms will continue overnight with a decreasing threat of severe storms. The main storm threats heading into the morning hours will be small hail and heavy rain. Temperatures will drop into the mid 50s by morning with an east to southeast wind at 8-15 mph.
THURSDAY: Showers and t-storms will be ongoing early in the morning east of HWY 63, moving out by mid-morning. Additional storms are possible in the afternoon as an area of low pressure moves through. Some of these could become severe with the best chance east of HWY 63. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats with an isolated tornado threat. Highs will reach into the mid 60s Thursday.
EXTENDED: After the rain moves out Thursday evening, it will be dry and cool Friday with highs in the 50s. The weekend will start off dry with high temperatures in the lower 60s Saturday but another chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms moves in Sunday with the best chance in the morning. The unsettled weather continues Monday through Wednesday of next week with shower and t-storm chances and highs in the 60s.
