Porter Jr. wins MVP at the McDonald’s All-American game

Mizzou commit Michael Porter Jr. won the MVP award at the McDonald’s All-American game on Wednesday night. Porter Jr. finished with a game high 17 points to go along with 8 rebounds.

Porter Jr.’s West team beat the East 109-107. The nation’s No. 1 recruit had a key defensive play on the last possession of the game that sealed it for the West squad.

Porter Jr. is Mizzou’s first McDonald’s All-American since Travon Bryant in 2000.
