Deputies arrest man on suspicion of three different Cooper County robberies

A man is held in the Cooper County jail Monday accused of three different robberies since the start of the year.

The Cooper County Sheriff’s Office posted about the arrest on it’s Facebook page early Monday morning.

It says deputies arrested 21-year-old Dallas Franklin Friday night.

A deputy apparently stopped Franklin just after 8 p.m. Friday for a traffic violation.

Authorities say an item in the vehicle stood out to the deputy and they arrested Franklin for a drug and traffic offense.

They say they eventually linked Franklin to three different robberies at the former Dogwood Truck Stop, now called Roadrunners.

Franklin is now held on a $100,000 bond on suspicion of robbery, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
