Rain in the forecast for Mid-Missouri

Rain and drizzle are expected in Mid-Missouri throughout Monday’s morning commute.

Those in the eastern counties will see the most amount of rain.

There is no risk for severe weather. There will also not be a lot of lightening because of not a lot of instability in the air.

When you do head out for your morning commute, make sure you leave a few minutes early.

The rain started early in the morning, and could make the roads slick. But there is not chance of the roads freezing.

Make sure to always use your windshield wipers if it raining and to always have your headlights on.

Keep in mind, we did have some rain over the weekend and there were some crashes.
