Police investigating robbery at Columbia motel
Columbia police responded to a robbery at the Extended Stay America Motel on the Business Loop Saturday night.
According to police, the suspect came into the lobby of the motel and demanded money from the front desk clerk. Police said the clerk did not see a gun during the incident.
He ran from the area with the money, heading north through Cosmo Park.
CPD used a K-9 to track through the park but the suspect was not found.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
