Showers continue into Saturday with a break on Sunday
TODAY: Showers and t-storms will increase through the afternoon and continue into the evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible with isolated 1 inch diameter hail and strong wind gusts to 60 mph. Rainfall amounts of .25″ to 1.0″ are expected with highest amounts east of HWY 63. High temperatures will reach the mid 60s with southeast winds up to 12 mph.
SUNDAY: By Sunday, the rain will come to an end for most of Mid-Missouri. Spotty morning showers are possible east of HWY 63 but the afternoon into the evening will be dry. Sunday we can expect mostly cloudy conditions with a high around 62 degrees. After 8 PM, showers will begin to track into southwestern Mid-Missouri, ahead of our next system that will arrive by Monday.
EXTENDED: Showers and t-storms are likely Monday with rain moving shiffting south of HWY 54 by 6 PM and ending overnight. For the entire week, we can expect to see active and wet conditions, with the exception of Tuesday. Tuesday is looking to be dry with temperatures in the low 60s. More active weather looks possible starting on Wednesday. Temperatures for remainder of the week will range from the lower 50s to upper 60s.
