Deer causes crash on Highway 63 North

Despite the rainy conditions, troopers say the weather did not play a factor in an early morning crash on Highway 63 North.

The crash happened around 4:20 a.m., when a single car traveling North on Highway 63 swerved to avoid a deer, causing the car to hit the guard rail on the right side of the road.

There were no injuries in the crash, and there was moderate damage done to the front of the vehicle.
