Wellness center officially opens in Jefferson City

Lincoln University and the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Department officially opened the long-awaited wellness center, unveiling it as “The Linc.”

The college broke ground on the $11 million project almost 18 months ago.

Events are planned throughout the day, including tours, sports clinics and training drills.

The facility is the result of a partnership between Lincoln University and Jefferson City Parks.
