Man charged with burglary, stealing in Fulton

On Thursday, a man was formally charged for a burglary in Fulton.

Police said the search for the suspect, Ryan Dooley, began before 4 a.m. Wednesday when a person reported a burglary in the 200 block of King Street.

When officers arrived, they found multiple items strewn across the area. They also found a leaf blower they were told had been removed from a locked shed.

Police believe Dooley entered the house while two people were inside, stole multiple items and fled the scene. Officers were able to find two items with Dooley’s information on them during the investigation and arrested him that evening.

On Thursday, he was charged with first degree burglary, stealing, and stealing a firearm.

As of Thursday morning, he was being held at the Callaway County Jail with no bond.
