Jefferson City police respond to “mental health investigation”

Several Jefferson City police officers were in the area of the 600 block of Belair Drive Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to the area in the afternoon, leaving around 5 p.m. near Belair Elementary School. The department said they were called to the area for a “mental health investigation.”

Officers said no one was hurt and said they couldn’t release anymore information about the incident.
