Columbia man indicted for producing and distributing child porn

A Columbia man was indicted by a federal grand jury today for producing and distributing child pornography.

23-year-old Sergio Antonio Dominguez-Gonzalez was charged in a two-count indictment of using a minor to produce child pornography between Feb. 1 and Feb. 22 of 2017.

The indictment also charges Dominguez-Gonzalez with distributing child pornography over the Internet.

Earlier this year, an undercover law enforcement officer posted several online bulletin messages on social media forums. The messages were meant to attract individuals with a sexual interest in children. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the undercover officer received an email from Dominguez.
