Firefighters fighting structure fire in Jefferson City
The Jefferson City Fire Department received reports of a structure fire in the 200 block of Pine Street around 6:15 a.m. Saturday.
The first round of firefighters that arrived to the scene found heavy fire near the back of a two-story, multi-family residence. No one was inside the residence when firefighters arrived.
The residents were alerted by smoke detectors.
As of 8 a.m. firefighters are still at the scene.
ABC 17 News crews are on the way to the scene and will give updates once they arrive and have more information.
