Dozens of inmates involved in verbal fight at Morgan County jail
ABC 17 News confirms dozens of inmates were involved in a verbal altercation Saturday morning at the Morgan County Jail.
It happened shortly before 10:30 a.m.
An employee at the jail told ABC 17 News an entire jail pod was involved in the fight. The employee said the pod was occupied by immigrants who had been previously booked, making the situation more difficult since many were not English speakers.
Officials don’t know why it started.
