Suspect crashes car, flees from Columbia police

Columbia police were searching for a suspect at Business Loop 70 and Sexton Road Thursday night.

Part of the area was blocked off as officers searched.

Police told ABC 17 News they tried to pull someone over, but the driver wrecked and took off.

ABC 17 News will continue to check in with police to bring you the latest information on why the driver fled and if he or she was caught.
