A squall line brought widespread damage from overnight storms. Here are the reports. Greatest damage looks to have occurred out of Chariton, Cooper counties, and Morgan counties.
In Columbia, parts of a strip mall look to have the roof blown off into the parking lot. Early this morning we had a report of it in the intersection of Vandiver and Providence. As of 8:00 AM Cooper County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service have coincided, and a damage survey team will be sent to assess either straight line winds or a tornado. Here are some photos just south of the Boonville area.
