Warmer through Thursday, weekend snow chance
TONIGHT: It will be clear and breezy overnight with sustained westerly winds of 8-15 mph and low temperatures in the low to mid 30s. The wind will produce wind chills in the mid 20s by morning.
WEDNESDAY: It will be another breezy day with high temperatures reaching the mid 60s. Westerly winds sustained at 10-18 mph will gust as high as 30 mph at times in the afternoon.
EXTENDED: Temperatures warm into the lower 70s Thursday with a chance of rain showers in the afternoon and evening, mainly near and south of I-70. Friday will be cooler with highs in the low 50s. A mix of rain and snow moves in after 2 AM Friday night with a rain/snow mix as temperatures fall to near freezing by Saturday morning. Snow is possible through Saturday morning then back to a rain/ snow mix as temperatures hover in the mid-upper 30s in the afternoon. It’s still too early to determine if we’ll see accumulation and how much. We’ll have updates in coming days as new data comes in. At this time, Sunday looks to be dry and cool with highs in the low 40s. Please check back for updates and follow ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter and ABC17News on Facebook for updates as well.
