Red Flag Warning Through Tuesday Evening

TODAY: We’ll have a sunny, windy and cooler day with afternoon temperatures mostly in the 50s, reaching near 60 for highs. Westerly winds of 15-22 mph will gust up to 40 mph in the afternoon. A Red Flag Warning is in place through 7PM for all of Mid-Missouri. Burning at all this afternoon is extremely discouraged.

TONIGHT: It will be clear and breezy overnight with sustained westerly winds of 8-15 mph. A wind chill returns overnight and early on Wednesday morning feeling like the mid to upper 20s tomorrow.

EXTENDED: Wednesday will be breezy and mild with high temperatures in the mid 60s warming into the lower 70s Thursday with a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening, mainly near and south of I-70. Friday will be cooler with highs in the upper 50s. Rain moves back in Friday night through Saturday with a cool, wet start to the weekend as highs only reach the upper 30s and lower 40s. There is a chance during the day that Saturday will bring a wintry mix of rain and snow. At this time, Sunday looks to be dry and cool with highs in the mid 40s.
