Wind Advisory Monday

There is a Wind Advisory for areas west of HWY 54 from 10AM through 6PM. Non thunderstorm wind gusts will exceed 40 mph, upwards to 50 mph, especially near HWY 65. High impact vehicles, light weight vehicles, trash cans, and loose outdoor objects can be blown around. Minor damage to trees is also possible.

There is also a Fire Weather Watch for Saline and Pettis counties from 12PM through 7PM. Moderate drought still persists for much of the state, and coupled with strong wind gusts, burning is highly discouraged. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
