Police: traffic stop lead to chase

Fulton Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the evening of March 4.

When police turned on the lights and sirens to their vehicles, the suspect vehicle immediately accelerated and sped away.

Authorities said the vehicle pursuit lasted between four to five minutes before the suspect vehicle came to a stop a few miles outside city limits in the 4700 block of County Road 105.

Three people ran from the vehicle on foot. Two of them were taken into custody by authorities. The third suspect has been identified and is wanted for questioning by authorities.

The names of the suspects have not yet been released due the situation still being under investigation.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the incident.

No injury or accidents were reported in the incident.
