10 people arrested in Moniteau County drug investigation
Ten people were arrested in connection to drugs after multiple search warrants were served in Moniteau County Wednesday night.
The Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Tipton Police Department served two search warrants in Latham and one in Tipton.
“I want to make this very clear, if you sell drugs in Moniteau County, we will come for you and use any legal means at our disposal to make sure that you answer for your crimes,” said Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley, referring to what he calls the county’s “ever-growing drug problems.”
Investigators have not released what type of drugs were involved.
As of Thursday, all 10 arrested were in the Moniteau County Jail.
Here’s a breakdown of who was arrested and for what:
Allen Wilkerson – possession of a controlled substance with a $20,000 bond
Kendall Stark – delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with a $25,000 bond
Amy Stark – delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with a $25,000 bond
Roxanne Mowrey – possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding felony warrant for a Morgan County kidnapping with a $20,000 bond
Ashley Hagebush – possession of a controlled substance with a $20,000 bond
John Wallace – possession of a controlled substance with a $20,000 bond
Dustin Tennis – unlawful possession of a firearm, hindering prosecution of a felony with a $30,000 bond
Billy Rains – possession of a controlled substance with a $20,000 bond
James Pace – possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm with a $30,000 bond
Megan Connelly – possession of a controlled substance
