Boonville police investigating after unresponsive infant dies in hospital
ABC 17 News has just confirmed that Boonville Police are investigating the death of an infant.
Officers said that they responded to a medical call Monday morning because the child was not breathing. Police performed life saving procedures at the scene. The child was taken to University Hospital by ambulance, where the child later died.
Police say that an investigation is pending the results of an autopsy, which is scheduled for later today.
