Officers arrest man after finding crack cocaine in Jefferson City home

The Jefferson City Police Department’s SWAT Team arrested a man Thursday night after finding crack cocaine in a home with two children.

Officers served the search warrant in the 100 block of Doehla Drive around 6 p.m. based on an investigation by the MUSTANG Drug Task Force.

According to the police department, one ounce of crack cocaine was seized, which has street value of approximately $3,000. Officers also found $10,000 in cash and packaging material typically associated with narcotics sales.

At the time, there were three adults and two children in the home, including an infant.

Officers arrested 44-year-old Marty Love on charges of first-degree trafficking of narcotics.

No one was injured during the service of the warrant.
